Carestream has been selected by the Union des Groupements d'Achat Public (UGAP), France's national procurement agency, to supply a range of radiology and IT solutions to the hospital sector. UGAP is the largest general public procurement agency in France whose role and procedures are defined by Le Code des marches publics, procurement rules laid down by the French Government that release its clients from prior advertising or competitive tendering. The agreement, which is country wide, is for a period of three years and commenced on 23 September 2014.
"We are very pleased to have been selected by UGAP for these new markets," said Patrick Koch, Sales Director for France, Belgium and Luxembourg, Carestream Health. "It is recognition for our teams who, for many years, have worked with radiology departments in a true spirit of partnership. Our range of solutions will offer France's public healthcare institutions the latest technology including Platinum remote controlled X-ray table, panoramic dental image capture, CR scanning and printing systems plus diagnostic workstations, image archiving and exchange via the Cloud for improved patient care."
