Carestream Named Top Medical Technology Company in Spain

CarestreamReaders of Redacción Médica, a leading Spanish medical news journal for healthcare professionals, voted Carestream one of 10 leading healthcare companies in Spain during 2012. It is the second consecutive year that Carestream has been recognized for this accolade, which notes the company's continued commitment to introducing new technologies as a platform for improving the performance of medical professionals and enhancing patient care.

"This award reflects Carestream's efforts to achieve excellence in providing our customers with the solutions, technology and services they need to improve patient care," said Manuel Frowein, Iberia Cluster Manager, Digital Medical Solutions, Carestream. "The poll was answered by more than 2,000 readers of Redacción Médica and the fact that we have been recognized for the second year in a row clearly reinforces the consistency of our performance."

Carestream is a dynamic global company committed to bringing new technology to market. In 2011 and 2012, the company was awarded 47 and 43 patents respectively from the U.S. Patent and Trademarks Office - a clear demonstration of continuing technology development across its businesses.

Carestream will display its latest medical imaging and healthcare IT solutions at ECR 2013 in Vienna, Stand 211, EXPO B.
