Philips and MEDSI to Enter New Healthcare Technology Partnership in Russia
Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHIA) and MEDSI, Russia's largest network of private clinics, announced a strategic partnership to develop a clinical network aimed at providing efficient medical care in Russia. MEDSI president Alexey Chupin, and Peter Vullinghs, CEO of Philips in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Davos during a ceremony attended by Vladimir Evtushenkov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sistema Joint-Stock Financial Corporation (JSFC), and Frans van Houten, CEO of Royal Philips. 
Agfa HealthCare and Worldline, acting as a consortium, have won the SIMRAL (Alsatian regional medical imagery services) project to provide a bundle of shared medical imaging services for the entire region of Alsace (France), following a 12-month competitive dialogue procedure.

InterSystems, a global leader in software for connected care, announced that NHS Wales has successfully completed the first phase of the national roll out of InterSystems TrakCare® Lab, a comprehensive, multidisciplinary laboratory information management system (LIMS). The first phase of the implementation, covering all four labs in the Hywel Dda Health Board, is a major step in one of the largest and most complex pathology modernisation programmes in the western health economy.
