DiaSana, a private diagnostic centre in the Netherlands, specialising in MRI and CT scans and X-rays, has ordered a CARESTREAM MyVue system. The system, part of Carestream's integrated Clinical Collaboration Platform, consists of Carestream MyVue and Carestream Vue Motion, a zero footprint viewer that can easily access a Vendor Neutral Archive or PACS using only a web browser or EMR portal.

As cases of ADHD continue to rise among U.S. children, pediatricians at busy community practices are getting a much-needed assist from a web-based technology to improve the quality of ADHD care and patient outcomes. According to a multi-institutional study published online July 26 in Pediatrics, a new web-based software program is helping reduce ADHD behavioral symptoms in children receiving care at community pediatric practices by coordinating care and ensuring patients get the most effective ADHD medications.

Scientists Develop Painless and Inexpensive Microneedle System to Monitor Drugs

Researchers at the University of British Columbia and the Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) in Switzerland have created a microneedle drug monitoring system that could one day replace costly, invasive blood draws and improve patient comfort.
