Allscripts Accepted onto NHS London Procurement Partnership's Clinical and Digital Information Systems (CDIS) Framework

AllscriptsAllscripts (NASDAQ:MDRX) announced it was accepted onto the NHS London Procurement Partnership (LPP) Clinical and Digital Information Systems (CDIS) Framework in both the acute care and innovation categories. CDIS, which went live in December 2016, was created to enable health and social care organisations to comply with the National Information Board's Personalised Health and Care 2020 framework. CDIS aims to give organisations access to a highly-flexible suite of software applications that bring together key clinical and administrative data.

Allscripts was accepted onto the framework in Lot 1.1 Acute Care for the Sunrise(TM) Electronic Patient Record (EPR), and Lot 4.7 Innovation for its CareInMotion(TM) and 2bPreciseĀ® population health IT solutions.

"Health care is entering a period of remarkable change with significant financial constraints. By creating the CDIS framework, LPP provides access to critical technology like the innovative solutions delivered by Allscripts. Through this framework, LPP aims to reduce procurement costs and enable NHS organisations to localise their health IT requirements," said Alan Fowles, President, Allscripts Global.

Used by many of the leading hospitals and health systems throughout the world, Sunrise is a highly-configurable EPR, designed to deliver workflows which can support improved patient outcomes. CareInMotion is a comprehensive, adaptable framework that enables healthcare organisations to address specific population health priorities, such as connectivity, care coordination, analytics and patient engagement. A fully-owned subsidiary of Allscripts, 2bPrecise is a cloud-based, precision-medicine platform that harmonises genomic, clinical and lifestyle data, and brings precise, EPR-agnostic, in-workflow interventions that work seamlessly within existing provider workflows.

"Organisations are under tremendous pressure to choose robust and reliable health information technology solutions, all while reducing cost," said Steven Brain, Vice President and Managing Director, Allscripts, UK. "The Clinical and Digital Information Systems (CDIS) Framework will enable UK providers to make the best choice for their IT needs. Allscripts looks forward to empowering clients to meet their healthcare priorities and continue delivering high-quality care to their patients."
