Tieto Demonstrates a New iPhone Application for Healthcare Professionals at Medica

TietoTieto has created a new healthcare application for the iPhone. This new mobile solution has been created in close cooperation with customers and is targeted at hospital staff-giving medical professionals immediate access to important patient information and other key data within their hospital information system. The new application will be demonstrated jointly with Knappschaftskrankenhaus Bochum, at the Medica Trade Fair in Düsseldorf in Germany.

The solution is called iM1-Mobile and is the latest in a series of Tieto healthcare and welfare mobile solutions developed in direct response to customer needs. In the development of iM1-Mobile, special focus has been placed on understanding the users' usage patterns and ensuring an easy, intuitive user experience.

According to Arto Ryymin, Executive Vice President of Tieto's healthcare and welfare business, "We are continuously developing our offerings in collaboration with our innovative customers in Europe. One of our key focus areas is the easy usability of our healthcare and welfare solutions.
