Best IST project website - a chance to win € 10,000

The European Commission is announcing a contest for the Best IST Project Website Award, sponsored by Nokia. The winning project will receive € 10,000 on 23rd November 2006 at the final session of the IST 2006 Conference.

The aim of the contest is to encourage IST projects to improve their websites. The objective is to enhance the content and visibility of these websites as well as publicising their activities.

The Best IST Project Website Award is open to all projects within the IST priority of the EU's Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) for research and development. Competition entrants must have a website dedicated to the project itself. Projects that have already finished are also eligible. IST projects can enrol their websites, before the end of September 2006, which will then be voted on and ranked by the wider internet community. A jury will select three finalists amongst the highest ranked sites.
