The winners of the 2nd EU SME eHealth Competition came up with innovations in areas such as improving cognitive behavioural therapy for mental care, improving physiological monitoring, and people facing emergencie.

East Cheshire NHS Trust is to partner with HCS, to help drive forward the development of integrated care across Eastern Cheshire's Health and Social Care system. The HCS Care Coordination service will provide expert assistance to the Trust to support the delivery of integrated care as a key partner in Eastern Cheshire's Caring Together Programme, which aims to commission and deliver patient-centred joined up, pro-active care services.

More people are now living with long-term conditions than ever before - around two million people in Scotland, or 40% of the population - and the number is rising.

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust has selected Harris Healthcare's Clinical Integration Platform to help fulfill its vision of providing a paperless and mobile clinical environment as part of a wider modernisation programme. The trust, which has signed a pilot agreement for 500 licences, will use the clinical portal to enable the organisation to bring together patient information from numerous different clinical systems that currently work in isolation.

HIMSS EuropeHIMSS Europe and AVISA (the Valencia Association of Health Informatics) have signed a collaboration agreement with which HIMSS reaffirms its strong commitment to Spain, being the leading country in Europe in terms of its adoption and use of electronic medical records.
