Google Health Prototype Speculations II

Google HealthGoogle Health Product discussions are facing now a 'second age', but two previous announcements are requiring a special attention. Both of them are coming from different sources, from different companies and in a different time interval, nevertheless by a simple aggregation one message could be underlined.

Announcement Nr. 1
Adam Bosworth, the leader of the Google health team, has left the company to pursue other interests. "Adam is a great talent and was instrumental in starting Google Health, he is now on vacation and has decided to pursue other opportunities after that." Google Inc spokesman Steve Landon said in a statement published by Reuters UK at the beginning of the September month. Additionally Reuters mentioned that Marissa Mayer, vice president of search products and user experience, will run the health team for an interim period until a new leader takes over.

Announcement Nr. 2
Joined by many USA medical providers, health-management device manufacturers and patient advocacy organizations, Microsoft Corp. launched Microsoft® HealthVault, a software and services platform aimed at helping people better manage their health information. "Our focus is simple: to empower people to lead healthy lives. The launch of HealthVault makes it possible for people to collect their private health information on their terms and for companies across the health industry to deliver compatible tools and services built on the HealthVault platform." said Peter Neupert, corporate vice president of the Health Solutions Group at Microsoft at the beginning of the October month.

Recently, at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco, Marissa Mayer has refreshed the Google Health speculations by mentioning that in a couple of months we will be able to see a lot more. On result Internet media launched a 'second age' speculations turn:
