BridgeHead Software Earns Prestigious Frost & Sullivan Industry Award

BridgeHead SoftwareBridgeHead Software, the healthcare data management company, today announced that it has received the 2016 European Customer Value Leadership Award by global consulting firm Frost & Sullivan as part of its annual Best Practices Awards. The award recognises BridgeHead Software's significant growth and leadership in the EMEA healthcare content management market with its Independent Clinical Archive (ICA) - also known as a third generation (3.0) Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) - HealthStoreTM.

Following independent evaluation by analysts from Frost & Sullivan, based on Customer and Business Impact, BridgeHead Software was awarded the Customer Value Leadership Award. The award acknowledges organisations that demonstrate high levels of customer engagement, satisfaction and loyalty, as well as growth - both organically and within new markets. In its deliberation, Frost & Sullivan assessed several criteria, including Price/Performance Value, Customer Purchase Experience, Customer Ownership Experience, Customer Service Experience, Brand Equity, Financial Performance, Customer Acquisition, Operational Efficiency, Growth Potential and Human Capital.

Nadim Michel Daher of Frost & Sullivan comments: "Over the last two decades BridgeHead Software has provided the healthcare market with its industry-leading data management solutions. In that time, it has demonstrated a strong track record of successfully deploying software and services to hospitals for data archiving and protection. More recently, with the success it has enjoyed following the introduction of its Independent Clinical Archive, HealthStore, what we refer to as a VNA 3.0, and armed with a deep knowledge and understanding of its customer's issues, pain points and opportunities, BridgeHead Software has cemented itself as a trusted advisor and one of the very few vendors that can deliver end-to-end healthcare data management solutions."

"We are extremely proud to be awarded Frost & Sullivan's Best Practice Award for Customer Value Leadership," said Jim Beagle, President and CEO of BridgeHead Software. "It is acknowledgement of the hard work our staff undertakes in ensuring our customers receive significant value from our relationship. Our customers are under immense budgetary and political pressures as they strive to improve the delivery of care and patient outcomes, and technology plays a very important role in this. At BridgeHead Software, we feel it is vital to listen to our customers, and understand their requirements, so we can help them achieve their goals.

"It's great to see so many healthcare organisations taking a long-term strategic approach to data management. Our ICA is playing a pivotal role as the central repository for all clinical and non-clinical data, ensuring it is stored, protected and can be shared with the people that need it, when they need it, at the point of care. We look forward to continuing to support healthcare organisations as they tackle the data challenges ahead of them to make sure data is available and accessible, whilst stored efficiently, intelligently and at optimum cost."

In 2015, BridgeHead Software undertook a project with North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust - one of the latest hospitals to select BridgeHead's ICA, HealthStore - for a strategic data transformation project to build an enterprise-wide data repository to help meet its obligations under the Government's Better Care Fund plan and Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt MP’s vision of a paperless NHS. The hospital aims to meet Hunt's digital hospital mandate ahead of the deadline in 2018, with the help of the HealthStore. BridgeHead Software has recently successfully completed HealthStore deployments in the UK at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust and Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, as well as a recent implementation with partner Oblak at Saint Georges Hospital in Bulgaria, which is using HealthStore in the Cloud.

Frost & Sullivan's Best Practices Awards recognise companies throughout a range of regional and global markets for superior leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development. Frost & Sullivan's industry analyst team benchmarks market participants and measures their performance through independent, primary interviews and secondary industry research in order to evaluate and identify best practices.
