This workshop is the third in the series and will showcase the outcomes, including a system demonstration, of the VIGOR++ project and explore future work in the integration of clinical data and MRI image analysis, classification and visualisation within the concept of the Virtual Physiological Human.

HIMSS Europe is launching the HIMSS Holland eHealth Exchange, a group primarily aimed at Dutch professionals working with healthcare and IT from both public and private sector. The Netherlands currently holds the second highest number of HIMSS EMRAM Stage 6 hospitals only outnumbered by Spain.

Doctors 2.0 & You, partner of Stanford Medicine X and known for its 360° inclusive perspective on the patient, the physician, and digital tools, today announced 4th edition highlights. Remarking that "healthcare is now a recognized part of the explosion in social media, apps, quantified self and wearables," founder Denise Silber, confirms that "the June, 2014 program will provide an intensive look at the many moving parts of digital health and their results to date. How do patients and physicians benefit?"

4 - 5 June 2014, Istanbul, Turkey.
This is the first time the conference will be held in Turkey. With all the exciting developments happening, this event promises to be an exciting gathering for both public and private participants from Turkey and abroad. HIMSS is currently collecting data from all 820 public hospitals in Turkey and will provide an overview from the data collection at the conference.

2 - 4 April 2014, Nice, France.
HIMSS Europe is presenting the Continuity of Care Maturity Model, that evaluates various aspects of delivering continual care covering both capabilities at organization and pan-organization levels. The Model will measure the readiness of an organization to deliver continuity of care as well as the maturity of a healthcare system in the continuity of care delivery. There will only be a global model but regional specifications are possible within the model's framework.

6 - 8 May 2014, Berlin, Germany.
More and more hospitals are becoming involved in telemedicine projects or have established electronic networks with resident practitioners. Providing it is managed in an intelligent way this kind of cooperation not only improves patient care but can also have a positive economic effect on hospitals. It also potentially boosts their image as employers. conhIT - Connecting Health IT will be showing how this can work and highlighting the challenges that lie ahead.
