conhIT 2017: Attendees Confirm High Value of Event

From 144 to 501 exhibitors and from 2,513 to 9,545 attendees. Ever since conhIT - Connecting Healthcare IT was launched ten years ago it has continued to expand and is now Europe's leading event for Health IT. conhIT is the place where the industry meets. Ten years after it was first held exhibitors and visitors at the event - a combination of Trade Fair, Congress, Academy and Networking - have again given it top marks, as reflected in the surveys conducted by conhIT. 98 per cent of attendees polled had a positive overall impression of the event, with 88 per cent declaring they would return and 89 per cent expecting good follow-up business. The reason is no doubt that 80 per cent of attendees were authorized purchasing and procurement decision-makers in their relevant companies and institutions.

Quality attendees
Exhibitors were highly satisfied with the quality of attendees. Nine out of ten exhibitors at conhIT 2017 gave a positive assessment of the visitors on their stand. Over half were employed in Healthcare IT (53 per cent), with 13 per cent directors, managing directors or commercial/medical heads of hospitals and other institutions. Overall, more than half of the attendees at conhIT 2017 worked in hospitals, rehabilitation and spa clinics.

Satisfied exhibitors achieve trade fair goals
The main aim of exhibitors taking part in conhIT - Connecting Healthcare IT was to meet face-to-face with IT decision-makers and specialist buyers from the healthcare sector, and to build and cultivate these ties. They also focused on their corporate presentation and image. Exhibitors attained these goals and were highly satisfied.

Exhibitors showcased a wide range of products and services, ranging from IT consultation to software solutions, hardware and IT infrastructure, on a display area covering 20,000 m². A total of more than 500 exhibitors from 19 countries displayed their innovations at the Trade Fair. Taking as its slogan '10 years of conhIT - combining health and innovative IT', the Congress focused on eHealth. The topics discussed included IT security and regulation as well as mobile health, robotics and the Internet of Things. The new film about conhIT 2017 and the films by Gold Partners reflect the industry’s diversity and innovativeness.

Preparations are already well under way for the next conhIT, which will take place from 17 to 19 April 2018. Companies are invited to apply early in order to secure good places. conhIT targets decision-makers in IT departments, management, in the medical profession, nursing, doctors, doctors' networks and medical care centers who need to find out about the latest developments in IT and healthcare, meet members of the industry and make use of opportunities for high-level advanced training.
