In addition, there will be three first time features taking place at Medtec Europe 2017. On 5 April the first Medical Device Manufacturing Conference will take place, organised in partnership with the Fraunhofer IPA. This conference is specifically targeted at decision makers from R&D, medical engineers and product developers. Furthermore, the VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau, Mechanical Engineering Industry Association) will be holding the first VDMA Forum, a platform where exhibitors will promote their innovations in the form of short presentations. For the first time Medtec Meetings - powered by gomed2med, a new free online business match and meet service for visitors and exhibitors that makes automatic matches based on your business needs will be available.
