Frost & Sullivan to Honour Achievements of European Healthcare Industry Leaders

Frost & SullivanFrost & Sullivan will host its Excellence in Healthcare Awards Banquet on Wednesday, February 21st 2007 in London.

The Awards Banquet will honour companies for innovative developments, exceptional performances and accomplishments across the drug discovery technologies, healthcare & life sciences IT, medical imaging, patient monitoring and medical devices arenas.

Mr. Gary Jeffery, European Director of Operations, Frost & Sullivan, will give the welcome address. "One of the main aims of Frost & Sullivan is to acknowledge outstanding industry achievements and demonstration of best practices by presenting awards to top companies in regional and global markets," says Mr. Jeffery. "Our industry experts recognise the diligence and innovation required to implement a successful business plan and excel in the increasingly competitive global marketplace."

Mr. Guido Geerts, CEO of Rogan Delft BV will deliver the keynote presentation on "How to Create Value in an Upcoming Market." A Frost & Sullivan award recipient, Mr. Geerts was conferred the 2006 Frost & Sullivan CEO of the Year Award in acknowledgment of his visionary leadership, radical thinking and successful risk-taking in the medical imaging industry.

Over ten awards will be presented during the evening's ceremonies. Among the awards to be bestowed are the Market Leadership Award, Excellence in Technology Award, Enabling Technology of the Year Award, Growth Strategy Leadership Award, Entrepreneurial Company Award and Product Innovation Award.
