CSW Group in UK's 'Hot 100' for Second Year

CSW GroupCSW Group is once again ranked in the Real Business/LDC Hot 100 league table, which charts the UK's fastest-growing privately owned businesses. This follows the award of 'SME Organisation of the Year' given to CSW at the prestigious British Computer Society (BCS) IT Awards at the end of last year.

Together, the companies in this year's Hot 100 have pulled in sales of £4.3bn and boast profits of £280m. With sales having increased from £1.7m to £8.1m over the past four years, CSW has grown by an impressive 59% per cent annually and ranks at position 83.

Grant Berry, regional managing director for LDC, the private equity company that sponsors the Hot 100 survey, says the variety of businesses on the list is an encouraging sign for the UK economy. He adds "People with the right approach to business who keep their focus and recruit the right management team, stand a great chance of becoming successful."

CSW is one of only five companies in the Hot 100 that sell to the healthcare market. Since the original product development of its Case Notes product began in 1999, CSW has continued to sustain growth over a number of years and has completely transformed its business from a consultancy/services-based company, to a leading product development company for standardsbased electronic health records and knowledge management in the UK. At the end of 2006 CSW extended its operations with the incorporation of its US subsidiary, based in New York, as part of its ongoing strategy to become a global market leading product supplier for electronic health records and knowledge management.
