iMDsoft announced that Kerckhoff Klinik in Germany has implemented the MetaVision clinical information system across their entire continuum of care. The hospital, which specialises in cardiothoracic, vascular and rheumatic diseases, now uses MetaVision in their OR, ICU, general ward and intermediate care unit, in a total of 317 beds.

Caradigm is planning to launch its new Ward Round application, a solution for hospital wards that will help replace existing paper-based processes for collecting information at the point of care. The ward round is where patient care is reviewed and planned, and consequently where most clinical decisions are made and reviewed: what tests to order, what treatments to change and when the patient is safe to be discharged.
The Future Internet CHallenge eHealth (FICHe) accelerator attracted European eHealth SMEs and startups: In total 308 applications were submitted in a period of 6 weeks. Top three countries are Spain (68 applications), Finland (60 applications), and Netherlands (48 applications).
