Data sharing ambitions set out in newly published sustainability and transformation plans (STPs) have been given a boost by a new strategic partnership between data management specialist Stalis and Italy's largest health IT company, Dedalus. The new partnership looks to make vital patient information, currently stored on dozens or even hundreds of legacy IT systems, accessible for care professionals working in different NHS and public sector organisations.
The second eHealth Roadshow, promoted by the new EU-funded eHealth Hub project, will take place on the 6th of April in Stuttgart, Germany, in the frame of the Medtec Europe Stuttgart 2017, which brings together leading medical technology buyers, suppliers, distributors, R&D experts, engineers and marketing & sales professionals.
Accenture announced plans to grow and deepen its presence in Ireland, drawing further upon the country's globally-recognized diversity of talent and business leadership. Specifically, Accenture will hire more than 300 technology and design professionals in Ireland this year. This includes 100 new roles at The Dock, the company's multi-disciplinary research and incubation hub, which was officially opened.
The solution, installation of which begins in March 2017, includes 96 Ascom Myco built-for-Healthcare handsets, interface software to wirelessly communicate alerts and data from 128 medical monitors to staff handsets, a comprehensive Ascom TeleCare IP nurse call system featuring 1,700 devices, and a full suite of Ascom Unite software.
